We’re excited to announce that your students can now log in to their Learning Upgrade courses using Google Single Sign-On (SSO). This new feature simplifies the login process by allowing students to use their existing Google accounts, eliminating the need to remember an additional set of login credentials. With Google SSO, students can quickly and securely access their Learning Upgrade accounts, ensuring a seamless and efficient learning experience.
To get started with Google SSO at your site, please contact us for SSO activation. Once activated, you can create student accounts using their Google email addresses or edit existing accounts to include these addresses.
Students with a Google email address added to their Learning Upgrade account can now access our Student Login Portal. First, they need to find their school in the ‘Search for your school’ dropdown. The browser will save this selection, so it only needs to be done once. With their school selected, they can click the ‘Sign in with Google’ button. If they are already logged in to their Google account, they will instantly see their student menu. Otherwise, they will need to enter their Google account credentials to proceed.

Now that your students have signed in using Once signed in using Google SSO, students will see the student menu portal. To access their courses, they can click the green ‘Start Learning Upgrade Web App’ button. If they are on a mobile device, they will be prompted to launch the Learning Upgrade mobile app. Through this portal, students can also view their account information, check their report card, and see course data.

Teachers and admins can also opt to have students bypass the Student Portal login screen with a direct link that can be added to the Google app tray or shared in their school’s student management system. To do this, click the three-dot menu icon next to a student in a class. At the bottom of the menu options, you will see ‘Generate Auto Populate School URL’. This link will be the same for all students at your site, so you only need to do this once. If students click this link and are logged in to their Google account, they will instantly have access to their Learning Upgrade accounts.
