After launching the Learning Upgrade App you’ll click ‘Get Started‘ to begin.
You can start with English/Reading, Math, or Digital Literacy. This is your starting module. You can add additional modules later.Each Learning Upgrade account provides access to all 1000+ lessons.
Once you select you’ve selected your starting module, you can choose to start from the ‘Beginning‘, directly select a course in the ‘Grade‘ row, or take a quick assessment with an app ‘Placement‘. If you take the assessment, the app will automatically place you in the appropriate Learning Upgrade course.
Enter your first name and last name. Your email and phone number are optional. After click ‘Go‘, the app will provide you with a username, password, and school ID.
***School users will need to enter their teacher assigned Class Code for self enrollment. Independent home users can leave the Class Code field blank.***
After click ‘Go‘ on the account creation screen, the app will provide you with a username, password, and school ID. Write this down and/or take a screen shot.
On the course map screen, you can launch your active (yellow) course. You can also click on an inactive course (grey) to add additional courses.
Each Learning Upgrade course has 60 lessons. You’ll start out on lessons 1 and work your way up. You need to score a 75% or higher to proceed to the next lesson.
A Learning Upgrade free trial account provides access to the first 8 lessons of each course. Once you’ve had a chance to get familiar with the app, you can become a member to unlock all content. To do this, click the ‘Become a Member‘ button on the courses screen.
